A Hollywood smile is a smile makeover that changes the colour, shape and alignment of the visible teeth, usually with zirconia crowns or E-max veneers, sometimes combined with professional whitening.

What is a Hollywood smile?
The term describes a bright, even smile rather than a single procedure. Your dentist designs it digitally, then chooses the treatment for each tooth: crowns, veneers, whitening or a combination.

Professional teeth whitening
Whitening lightens discolouration within the tooth structure. It is different from the cleaning that removes plaque and tartar from the surface, which is done first.
In-clinic whitening uses a peroxide gel activated with a light device. For home whitening, custom trays are made from impressions of your teeth and filled with a carbamide peroxide gel, usually worn overnight.

When whitening does not work

The number of visits, the length of your stay and healing times depend entirely on your treatment. Your dentist sets them out in your written plan.
When you are home
Aftercare
Whitening is not permanent, and how long it lasts varies. Brush with fluoride toothpaste twice a day, cut down on staining drinks and avoid smoking. Restorations need daily cleaning and regular check-ups.
Your coordinator stays in touch after you leave. You can send photos or arrange a video call with the clinic at any time, and we can share your records with your own dentist.
