What is orthodontic treatment?
Teeth and jawbones with each other and the relationship between the facial bones to eliminate the disorders, a healthy and aesthetic smile and a facial profile are performed to give the person. It is a method of straightening or shifting teeth to maximize the look and function of the teeth. Orthodontic treatment usually involves the use of braces, sometimes tooth extraction and rarely includes jaw operation. The most common treatment is having braces. Typically, teeth are sore soon after a brace has been adjusted, but this will settle down. They consist of 5 different stages; examination, preparation, diagnosis, planning and treatment. Doing a complete analysis is the most critical thing. Typically this would include looking at your teeth, taking dental x-rays and making your teeth with plaster templates. If you have a skeletal jaw problem, such as a closing disorder, you may also need surgery in orthodontic treatment. However, only if your teeth are broken, only orthodontics will be enough. Health, happiness, and self-confidence are very important for adults. No patient is considered “too old” to use braces! Orthodontic treatment does not hinder your daily life physically or psychologically. At what age should I have orthodontic treatment? Generally, the safest period is through adolescence, but adults should still get orthodontic surgery – and more and more do so. Age is less important than having the proper number of teeth. It could be appropriate to wait for sufficient teeth to come through in children before initiating therapy.Can orthodontics damage my teeth?
If you do not look after them correctly through recovery, your teeth can be damaged. There will be no harm to the braces themselves, but bad hygiene and too much sugar products and liquids will inflict irreversible damage to the teeth. Brackets, wires and braces can trap food and cause more plaque to build up than normal. So, you need to very carefully brush your teeth.Treatment or Holiday? Why not Both!
